Posts: 1220 | Hey guys, I stopped at Smokey's Tuesday, they have over 400 suckers (including some really nice fat big ones) which should make getting meat right before the tournament pretty easy. For those of you not familiar with the current lake level and coming to Smokeys by water...NOT KIDDING...keep your motor trimed out!

Posts: 179 Location: Wisconsin | The Ironman staid true to its name. Pewaukee event went on through the weather. Wind, rain and cold weather could not stop use. And their were some fat muskys caught. We had one team double and another 8 teams caught a legal musky. Not to bad for a 15 boat field. We paid out over $2000 in winnings, plus door prizes for every angler at the rules meeting and 1 rod and 2 bump boards. Thats a lot of stuff for just 15 boats. Think of what could have been won with a bigger field of boats. Winning sizes. 1st - 40.75" & 38.75 2nd - 43.5" 3rd - 40.5" You can still sign up for our upcoming events. We have -Waubesa Oct. 27 -Monona Oct. 28 -Pewaukee Nov. 10 Each event cost $225 per boat, with 2 anglers allowed per boat. And every one has a chance to win $10,000 with being the first one to catch a 50 plus" fish. Check out ironmanmusky.com for more info and updates. And thanks to all the anglers this weekend for coming out. Edited by ffdonnie 10/14/2012 9:59 AM

Posts: 1220 | All I learned for the tenth time is that Gore-Tex seems to work a whole lot better in a rain suit than it does in shoes. It's Monday morning and I still feel wet--we were actually adopted almost the whole day by a couple of ducks that assumed we were family out there, a loon too which you seldom see on Pewaukee Lake. We did get a fish...so all is good!
