I have a 1750 fishhawk and over the summer I am having a hell of a time trying to get the post out of the base. I have tried lubrication, cleaning and sanding the base out, but still very tight. The button pushes in on the post, but still cannot seem to get the post to move. Last night had to take the pipe wrench to it and finally got it to pull out. Anyone else have this issue and is there a fix? THanks BG

Yup. I lubricated the seat base with JB-80 and haven't had any problems since...
