| I decided to try a few different colors to keep the pike on there toes this week. I have done two foils in the past trying different methods to achieve a scale pattern. This time i used a dull pen and a staight edge ruler. I think it turned out good enough to catch fish but still needs some work. The trout and crappie are new patterns for me. After a recent trip down to the fish ladder i saw a lot of smaller salmon and steelies running. I have a good feeling that the bigger fish are keying in on the smaller cohos and steelies so i thought i would try to "match the hatch".
