I've heard very little about the 12" version since it first came out, and I'm just curious what anyone thinks of the big version versus the standard sizes. Are they just a big version of the original, or does the size affect what you can do with them? They only sell the 12" version in DDD, so who has made themselves a 12" DD, and what are your thoughts on it? One last thing, the floating option on the 12"er... how does it compare?

I'm a huge fan of the DD and DDD and had planned to pick up the 12" version when it came out, but for whatever reason I haven't picked one up yet. I will order one soon before my fall trip to find out for myself, but curious to see what is said about them. A squirrely DD is definitely my favorite plastic bait, but bigger is so often better.

Fall is here, and primetime for twitching big cranks on the rocks is now.

Sounds like the same lines as the bigfoot depthraider, heard absolutely nothing about it.

I like it, had two fish eat one a couple weekends ago.

If you do a search, we had a discussion about them a while back. I've thrown them in fall and done okay with them (last year they preferred the 12" verses the smaller one for some reason in my boat). It's definitely a little different to work then it's little brother, but will be thrown again this fall in my boat for sure.

I have one. I haven't given it the water time I should. It hasn't been eaten yet but it looks good in the water. I would say it's a little harder to work than the original size, but really not bad for a pretty big bait.

I do know somebody that has caught a handful of fish on one, so they do work.
