| I was wondering if anyone had an idea on how many boats are entered into the tournament this weekend, or about how many are usually in it. Thanks. | |||

Posts: 393 Location: Hopefully on the water | in the past that we have fished it there have been 400-600 people entered in the tourney. Very well run. | ||

Posts: 151 Location: IL | Call Hayward bait and tackle at; 1 800 835 2803 for info. I'm not sure if you can fish three a boat. Its all 17 of the hayward lakes, 3 day tournament fri-sun (5,6,7th) If your going to go, dress worm its going to be COLD. | ||

Posts: 87 | It is a fundraising event for Muskies Inc. - Great event and of course, good cause. It is an individual tournament, you can fish 50 people in your boat (1 line each, no live bait), but everyone must be registered. The weather is not going to friendly this year, good luck! Oh...$80/person to get in, I think. No cash prizes, but they give away nice rods, reels, etc. to the top 10 anglers. Edited by Love the H20 10/2/2012 3:55 PM | ||

Fall Muskie Tournament is this weekend, Oct. 5-7. You can enter in person or by phone until 11 p.m. Oct. 4 at Hayward Bait or Jenk’s Bait and Tackle. The entry fee is $90 for adults and $25 for youth ages 16 and younger. All entrants are eligible for the Grand Door Prize, a 2012 Lund 1725 Pro Guide tiller boat, ShoreLand’r trailer, and 60 hp Mercury motor. For information, call Hayward Bait at (715) 634-2921. | ||
