Got a Calcutta 400b, and I wonder how well the gears will do, pulling DC10's(not 13's). And do you have any suggestions to a nice PW handle?.

You can use the 400b, most guys use the 400TE or other reels though. It kind of depends how fast you want to pull them I suppose for this purpose, as you will feel the pull with the 400b, no doubt.

As far as a power handle, check out dave's reel service. I am not sure he can ship oversea's though.

I got one with advice from ski patrol on here. With a power handle you can throw them all day withoutgetting tired. My first season with one so far so good. Have heard the TE is great also

Thanks guys, Daves reel repair has some nice ones, might order an extra set of gears to go with it
