I have an 8'6" monster heavy musky innovations rod. Great rod, but the handle needs to be longer for throwing pounders. I need to add 4 to 6 inches to the handle. I live in the Milwaukee area. Any suggestions on where I can get this done? I used to take my stuff to Easterling's Rod & Reel Repair on National, but the guy that used to run it retired and the new guy pales in comparison. Had a poor experience with some reel repairs earlier this season. Any suggestions?

I am not an experienced rod builder but I decided to lengthen my handles on my three heavy Muskie rods for your exact reason, one of them a musky innovations rod. I had some help from some rod builders but I did it all myself and they are still sturdy after the first year (150-175 hrs). PM me if you would like to know the process I used. It cost me about $30 a rod.
