My second set of H3O's finally delaminated from me storing them in a warm, damp environment. Thus, I'm in the market for some high quality glasses too.

I've been looking at:

Costa Del Mars (have a good reputation)
Ocean Waves (seem to be the best)
H3O's (most affordable)

Can anyone offer a recommendation?

Maui Jim and Revo are other good choices. PC is a lot lighter than glass and that can mean a lot over the long haul. Frame style is probably THE most important factor. You want to minimize the amount of light that gets in behind the lenses. I would go to a Sunglass Hut or other store for the fit, then do a search on E-Bay for the best price. The gal at the Hut even wrote down the style and model ## for me. I am now searching for some polorized yellow glasses for those low light conditions. Any ideas?

John, goto bass pro and get you a pair of costa del mars. Awesome sun glasses.

Does anybody make a pair of glasses with polarization but no tint? would be great for cloudy days and low light conditions.

Went through countless "cheaper" pairs of glasses, and finally broke down and got myself some Maui Jim Sports. They are about the best money I have spent, next to the Calcutta TE.

Costa, Revo, Maui jim, nikon. I reccomend amber lenses especially in low light. Vermillion and darker for bright conditions. Glass or plastic, I like glass myself. Spend as much as you can because cheaper glasses are cheaper for a reason..they are not good for your eyes. Also, check for clearance stuff at places like sunglass hut, I bought 2 pairs of costas for $50 total(not glass lenses) but still a great deal. I don't reccomend mail order as it is best to try them on before going on the water with a headache from wearing them....

I have to wear prescription sunglasses to get a good pair. I had my last pair made with the REALLY dark green polarized lenses, and love them. These were custom make, avaitor style with extra large lenses. Only bad part is they can't do that with the bifocals, so I have to peer over the top of the lenses to tie an knot.

Old guys. Sheesh.[]

I have three pairs that I love - Ocean Waves, Revo and Maui Jim. My husband loves his Ocean Waves for fishing and Maui Jim for driving.

Here's a great website to shop www.apairofshades.com

I have always bought one $15 pair per year. Usaully from the local sporting goods store. I can't see spending over $15.00 on glasses because I am so hard on my glasses.

I am sure that the high end shades are great but until they make them scratch proof, step proof, sit on proof, kids messing with them proof, leaving them in someone elses boat proof I doubt if I will part with the money[;)] God bless.

Hey Krappie where did you get your Tsunami's???
