| Hey Guy's - I don't support buying Muskie mount's. It's encouraging the depletion of a valuable resource! During the MF Outing at Cass lake, MN, I learned of a niche market by Native American's, i.e., netting big Muskie's and selling them to Taxidermist's. This practice has to stop!!!! Ranger Rick can confirm this practice, as he actually witnessed the net being set!!!
While Native Americans or Canadian Aboriginal's may view it as their right, it's a despicable waste of a valuable resource, i.e. selling dead Muskies to rich white guy's!!!!. I have a very hard time justiying this practice!!! My grandson is a member of the Ho Chunk Nation. My mother was Native American, God rest her soul. I would rather go fishing with a Native American Fishing Guide than buy a Muskie! Unfortunately many Natives view this as a source of income or a revenge against the "white man". Somewhere we have to find an ecological balance.

| You could also get a replica. The price is close to a natural and the quality over the last couple of years has improved by leaps and bounds.
This winter I'm going to attempt to design a muskie pattern in 3D scroll saw art. If it works it'll be really cool.

| My brother in law went to taxidermy class learned how to do this. The class was in northern Wisconsin. He mounted a muskie. I asked him were he got the 38" fish. He said the taxidermist buys them from the natives.
EM.....you are right....enough said.[:knockout:] |
