| Obviously fishing as much as possible is a good thing, but that is not the point. If you have the ability [or are required] to plan your outings ahead of time, it's best to plan them around the moon phases. You can't plan around the weather because it doesn't follow a predictable schedule.
Sorry, I don't have a good book to offer. On this forum alone there's plenty of helpful information concerning theories of the moon's effect on fishing. It's pretty basic.
I will say that I've had more success by planning outings around moon phases than by going out on short notice due to 'favorable' weather. |
