| I have used them for many years. I had one get destroyed by something huge once, but that was user error. Drag too tight and I had it pointed perpendicular to the boat (straight out). No idea what it was, but it was huge. Plastic was flying everywhere.
Since doing things THE RIGHT WAY, never had a problem since. |

Location: Lino Lakes, MN | I have used them and I now run Flobe rod holders.
i was pulling lots of 10" jointed believers at 3.5 mph to 5 mph and the scotties would vibrate up and swing to the rear. I ran them on the shallow settings. for pulling other stuff they worked alright.
I like the Flobe's much better.
