I know that this has been discussed in past and has come up in the Power Pro thread, but I want to know what line people like the best for fall fishing. My biggest problems have been with all the excess water spraying on hands when using Tuff Line and Cortland, which leads to cold hands in fall. I am using Power Pro for first season on one reel and like that it doesn't have the water spraying like my Cortland and Tuff Line.

Tuff line was from what i remember one of the worst for holding water. you could try Sufix 832 as it does hold less water from what i noticed. I don't care fo 832, but as i mentioned it does shed water better.

Go with the 832, it is by far the driest i have used. Another thing you can do is use a smaller 5500 sized reel and 65lb line, that will also help keep the wetness down.

Wear latex gloves over your hands or fishing gloves... That's what I do.

Do folks actually change their line when fall comes around? I use the same stuff i use during the summer. I'm not going to rip off good line just because another line is drier just for fall fishing. I would however use another reel with mono when fishing in near freezing water (lake water not air temps).
