I was wondering if someone could give me some feedback on the trolling/live bait rod from TI. I have two other rods from TI which I love. I would mainly use it for live bait.
Thanks Justin

I will let others comment on the rod but I just took these to $99 going into trolling season.

I might be pulling the trigger on one of these soon. I would troll with it but primary use would be for suckers also. Anybody own one of these? Do they have the backbone needed for a sucker rod?

Love this rod. Its a great trolling rod. I also use it as a sucker rod and even cast with it once in a while. Great action.

This may be a dumb question, but is this rod stout enough to troll a Grunt?

Yes, it should be fine to troll a Grunt. They do pull but the rod is a hybrid rod blank and about 30% up from and XH to an XXH in power rating. LOL I did not really know what to call the power so I called it an "XH+". I have a lot of guys use my XXH for trolling too.

I just ordered the trolling/sucker rod. I'm hoping to get the chance to see how it handles the "sucker set" a time or two this fall! I'm sure it will meet the quality of the other TI rods I have.
