Location: McFarland | Yeah EA I often wonder that about the lake I live on here in Madison too (Waubesa) but I dont think the Madison chain had musky back then either so I guess I'm happier with them these days.  |

| A copy of that book sold for more than $3,000 on ebay a few years ago. Seriously. I have one, too, and while recent prices haven't come close to 3 grand since, it's still a valuable book.
Don't lend it to anybody, especially since your copy looks to be in pretty good condition. |

| I enjoy reading the older books like this or Ramsell's compendiums. One things for sure, if you could take a loaded boat back through the time portal to Lake of the Woods, The V, Chautauqua or the Larry back in oh say 1750, I'm sure you'd hook into some 100 pound muskies! |

Location: NEW LENOX IL | I bought a copy of that book at the bookstore in minocqua about 15-20 yrs ago . Got to meet the author (Tom hollatz) at his home on trout years later. B.S'd a bit then pulled out a few books of his to sign , he almost shart when I pulled that one out . He told me it was pretty rare ,if I remember correctly 200 copies?? Said he had a buyer willing to pay 1k if one came up . I declined and had him sign it . Unfortunately it's MIA , hope it turns up . Good read ,great pics! |

| Maybe the first print editions are worth some coin but that same book is availible just about everywere for about 40 bucks. |

| I just bought a copy of that book up north in boulder jct for 34.95 earlier this year. $1000---must be a SIGNED FIRST EDITION----even then--if you just want to read it spend the $35. |
