 | I was sitting around with the boys last week, they were playing and I was bored. I took a look at an 8' XH Tica that I broke a few years ago. Then I look over an old cheap BPS 6'3" XH muskie rod. A couple measurements later and quite a bit of pulling apart and sanding another rod was built. I had to take the eyes off both rods and remove all the cork and reel seat from the BPS rod. A 6" chunk of the Tica blank to sleeve the BPS blank too fit the telescoping handle of the Tica handle and it seems to function. I was tossing a pounder aross the yard with it and all seems well. It all went together so well it is almost too good to be true. I screwed up a little wrapping the eyes, not perfectly straight, but it works. I think I just saved $150. I screwed the Okuma Cortez on top and as soon as the water cools a burning we will go. |

 | Hope these work. Was a suprisingly easy project. I hate seeing things just lay around and I don't mind tinkering. The hardest part was get the Enviortex to dry and keep the sags out.
