Here's a good question (leastwise I think so) relating to geography and season change on the musky earth. When does autumn really arrive in your neck of the woods? No, it isn't necessarily when the kids go back to school. We get over that as adults. I mean when do you really see signs--tree leaf change, air temp, etc.--that you are in a new season? Here in the West Penn, I don't look for it until October 1. What about you?

Leaves here peak in the next week this year. The true cool down is middle of Oct. Leaves drop same time, and the grouse hunting and bow hunting interfere with my fishing some days.

when rubs and scrapes start showing up all over the woods... oh yeah, and when suckers don't go belly up 2 minutes after dropping em in the water.

Easy for me down here...when I can start muskie fishing again. And best I can tell that should be in the next week (or maybe two).

Been real cold in the northwest the last week following a brutally hot summer. Our leaves are starting to change quickly now but the heaviest drop will be about 3-4 weeks out.
