I am new to the lure building world and I am looking for suggestions for crankbait lips. I would like to try my hand at making some deep diving(15+ft) shad style baits in the 4-5 inch size range and am wondering what diving lips to buy. Thanks in advance for your help...I'm sure I will have more questions as I get deeper into this project.

As you know the lip’s size, angle, and shape are decisive to the lure’s action.  Every lure body is different and needs different measures.  It’s hard to just give you an answer.  It’s something you’ll have to experiment with until you get what you like.  I get my lips here http://www.mooreslures.com/  I’d get a few sizes and shapes and then play with the angle and weighting until you get it right.  Besides, if I was able to just tell you, wouldn’t that take all the fun out of it? lol
