51 & 50 from Vermilion on my custom painted n secret scented Medussa in 10 casts. What a week our group had! 5 fish in all with only one under 50.

that was a firetiger pounder. a couple.guys had some action on em but not me unfortunatly....i used my recently new big TI rod with both those fish. my buddies bro in law also accidently stepped on the2nd eyelet n busted it ... thankfully didnt.have any problems with the line fraying or breakin

what was the pressure like??? I heard from someone up there all summer that its ruthless on the weekends 1 boat spots are now 4 boat spots and at dusk you have to get on a spot early grab the biggest section of a reef because within minutes you will have someone pull in front and behind you

That's the way it's been the last couple weekends, at least on the east side. I imagine it will be even worse with full moon thise weekend.
