That all depends on where I am fishing, color of water, whether it's dark or bright or cloudy... I guess if I had to pick one it would be anything as long as it's mostly black.

x2 for lemonhead...but thats mostly bias since i caught my pb on lemonhead, if i catch a bigger one on brown tomorrow ill change my mind immediately.

I'm pretty simple. A lot of my crankbaits or rubber baits are walleye themed in some flavor or another. I also have a blue/silver Curly sue that's been beaten up pretty good as well as a blue-silver/nickle Cowgirl that's brought a lot of fish to the boat. For the most part those are clear water lakes but I like walleye in stained water too.

It's hard to beat a black topwater, and in stained water I've had good luck with black body and lime, chartreuse, or flame blade bucktails or spinnerbaits.

I never get too hung up on color. Tend to use somewhat natural colored baits in clear water and something with a little color and/or black in dirty water.
