| Took a muskie trip over thursday and friday to Green River Lake and the bite was good.
Was able to CPR 2 fish each day, had multiple follow ins and the fish were highly visible at the surface. I feel safe to say we had over 50 sightings of muskie at the surface over a two day period.
Now, I'm trying to figure out why I came back home instead of staying for Saturday and Sunday.

Location: Cave Run Lake KY. | Nice fishing trip! I caught a nice fish saterday 48'er on Cave Run. I don't think I can fish any more this spring as some parts of the lake the timps were 81* I found 78* water near the dam over 60ft of water and fished over shad school's. I don't like to fish musky in water over 80dg's. Green River may have colder water then the Cave. Anyway Congrats on a great 2 days of musky fishing. Marv.

| Congrats on the 48"er ChinWhiskers! I love Cave Run Lake and can't wait until I get to go back in September. It's a 4 hour drive for me, so I try to stay and fish a few days when I go.
Water temp at GRL was around 82*. It's been kind of dry and I'm hoping for a cool rain and some unseasonably cool weather. |
