| Does anyone know the best way to haul long muskie rods on a car? leaving for vacation tomorrow and my truck started acting up and Have to take the wifes car! thanks!

Location: Palatine, IL | Before I had a boat I used a 4" diameter PVC pipe with screw on end caps, bungeed to the roof rack. Never had a problem. |

| same here. 4" PVC or Sewer pipe with end caps. Simple, cheap and protects them well. I cut some sponge and put it on both ends just in case the rods shifted. i can carry 3 -9' rods in mine. but you will need some sort of rack to bungee them too. |

Location: beloit | I had a center pass thru in my grand prix so I could put the rods inside, 9 footers were no problem. |
