Anyone have any experience with the Black Dog Lunker Punker. How do you fish it? Walk the dog style ? Pauses?

Ive got one of the 6.5" injection molded ones... haven't caught anything on it yet, but only a matter of time. Decent action, but nothing spectacular. It's not an extremely wide walking bait, but you can get it to move pretty good. Sits fairly low in the water, but still has a nice head bob to it--due to the shape of the bait. My favorite thing about it is the rattles... Has a great rattle! That is what makes the bait imo.

I like the way it looks worked with an erratic WTD retrieve, instead of the slow-steady, hypnotic back and forth. That said haven't caught anything with it yet, so take that for what its worth, lol.

I haven't tried any of the wooden ones... only the injected.

Just as an update, had a nice ski come out of nowhere and crush the LP this past week... Hit on a pause. I had no idea the fish was there.

Somehow didn't get any hooks in the fish, but at least know the lure isn't a dud, lol.
