| I try to post pics, no dice. Why do they have to be smaller than 50 Megs?
There has got to be an easier way. |

|
| It seems like it works intermittently. I'm trying a small one now. 18kb (which did not work) |

| This time I logged out and added picture under anon, then logged and posted (i've seen it suggested before)also did not work this time but did earlier ??? muskie37.jpg |

| Try simplifying the file names. f. ex. "my big 44" fish.jpg" should probably be "EM44.jpg", it's worked for me! Good luck!

| It seems like you have to start the thread yourself. Earlier today I started my own post because I couldn't get pictures to load into the November pics thread. I loaded about 10 pictures without a problem. We'll see if the one I just attached works.
There goes my Theory.
If you want your picture to show up in your thread, then add [ img ] [ /img ] (no spaces) around the full path of your file name. The full path will be http://muskie.outdoorsfirst.com/files/your_file_name.jpg

| This topic has come up several times and I always follow it with interest, but there seem to be no consistent answers. Bottom line, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I've loaded large files on occasion with success, and been stifled on tiny ones. Same mixed results on topics I've started or ones I've tried to post on others. It's just something I've learned to live with, and since this option isn't yet available on some musky boards, there hasn't been a push to remedy it here.
If official instructions are available, it'd probably be a good thing to post on the home page. |

| I too struggle w/ these mundane things...I still can't figure out why that blue streak is always to the left of every pic, + I started fooling w/ the color + made it even worse; have no idea where the "red checkered coat" look came from! Anyway this was taken a week + 1/2 ago in NC above Oregon Inlet...the flapping thing coming out from behind me leg is a wet fish towel, blown by howling N.E. winds, creating a nice feeding frenzy for small to medium redfish. Notice the calmer water to the left; a nice trough there between beach + sand bar that the fish were stacking up in, something to remember for you guys that venture southeast on occasion! Caught a bunch of fish in 2 days + ate like kings + wish I was still there! Raze knows the area + probably would like to be here also. Now I have to try to rid meself of the "musky goose egg" I've been hatching this year, IF I can stay out of a treestand....[:0] |
