Those Japanese Revos look pretty cool. What's the line capacity supposed to be? They don't look very wide like the Toros, but you'd think they would be if there's a model with a power handle.

I hope Abu doesn't change the bass Revos too much. They've treated me pretty well over the years with only one small glitch earlier this year. I'd like to see some lighter and/or cheaper models in the future, but I like the current ones so much I'm almost afraid what the new ones will be like.

Icast is July 11 and we will know for sure then.

I'm sure they are 60 size reel and they have 7.1:1 nice line pickup for topwater or jerks. Go to Tackle Warehouse to see the new Revo. Icast is July 11 and we will know for sure then.

The bass reels look nice. They don't seem drastically different than the other models. They are all significantly lighter, though. I hope they didn't cheapen them up. I thought they might have just made them smaller like the MGX, but the gear ratios seem to be the same. The STX has an 8.0:1 gear ratio option. Can't wait to hear the line pick up for that. I guess we'll know in a few weeks.

I like the new Handles on the 50 - 60 reels, $299.99 not to bad, color is cool. I wish they had them in 4.6:1 and 5.41, but you can convert them over to that very easy. I was hoping for a little more improvments ????

So is this the new inshore toro that you said would be introduced at Icast? Is the saltwater finish the only improvement?

once again, no lefty model....wtf are all companies just going to drop lefty models in these new '12 reels? I know the calcutta is going to be made in a lefty model but I love the low pro reels also and was looking forward to a new toro.
