| Out and about today and I get a phone call from my sister. She explains to me that the neighbor behind us rang our door bell to tell us a huge piece of one of the weeping willows down my driveway fell. I asked which one, she told me the one at the end. Hmm let's see what would be underneath that? MY BOAT!!! AHHHHH!
So I think that it's probably not too big, just a smaller branch.
I pull into the driveway and see about a 60ft arm of a massive weeping willow surrounding my boat. It looked bad.
So I walk up to my baby expecting the worst, amazingly this enormous arm of the tree wrapped completely around my boat and only a couple small twigs hit my boat. I guess the musky gods were looking over me because if this thing would have fell 2ft the wrong way it would have crushed my boat.
I took pics with my digital and will post them as soon as I find my adapter. It was nuts! |

| Pip, I just read a description of your boat in a recent post. Anything more than a few twigs would of had you weeping like the willow! Nice that you'll have water under you once again to get that 50"er. Now go build one of your classic bloodys and say thanks to the BIG GUY[:0] [] [:halo:] |

| John,
Thanks for the positive response. Got me smiling. This branch dwarfs my 620. I can't wait to post the pics, I mean literally 2 ft if not less.

| I would go out an buy a lotto ticket, TODAY, before that 'luck' wears off.[8)] [::)] |

|
| Or take the day off and go Muskie fishing![] There's probably a pig just waiting for that luck of yours to put a bait in it's face! |

| Two theroies at work here. Very lucky that the tree missed your boat. Very unlucky that the tree limb fell off at all. Again, very very, lucky that limb missed boat. Very, Very, Very lucky indeed. Almost unbelieveable that someone could be that lucky. Are you having a spell of great luck? Or have you used it all up? Not a good thing to think about but I think that each of us and our toys are blessed with the same amount of good and bad luck. You have just used up your allotment for this boat and motor combination. LOL Sorry to have to inform you of this but that's the breaks. Might just as well sell that boat now. It will just be soooooo unlucky from now on. I will be glad to take it off of your hands and dispose of it properly so as to not let its bad luck rub off on you. No charge, honest it won't cost you a thing to have this horrible bad luck piece disposed of. Just thought I would help where I can. |

| Muskyone,
That is so nice of you to take the bad luck boat off my hands for free. For some reason (don't ask why) I'm gonna have to pass on the offer and just accept my bad luck. [:p]

| That second pic is impressive! Too close! Too big of a branch. If you lived up here you wouldn't have to worry about all those leaves weighting down that tree.[:0] |

| Just trying to be of what help I can. Looks like that tree came way close man. You may have a little luck after all. |
