Subject: new rod

It's been a while since I've bought a rod, and can't make a decision. Is it really necessary to spend $350 on a Croix or Loomis? I'm looking for a rod that's between 8 and 9 feet for what I'm throwing. Any suggestions?????

Get Musky Innovations Pro series. They have held up for me better than any rod i have ever used.
Good Luck,

I third the Tackle Industies.

I bought two at the start of the year and my friend bought three.

I have the one-piece, 9' MH and XH. You WILL NOT be disappointed.

No - spending 300 is not necessary at all.
I have a StCroix Slingblade and it is awesome but my $70 Pete Maina Basspro rods are verrry close as is my friends Tackle Industries. The premier and mojo series st croix rods are nice too but a bit more.

Tackle Industries 8 or 9 foot MH, chucks spinnerbaits, double 10's, and the regular bull dawgs.

Musky magnet,

Just an FYI but most of the retailers who carry my rods have them on special for $120 right now. You can read all of the specifications on them on my site:
http://www.tackleindustries.com/muskypikerods.html

email me at [email protected] for where you are located and I can point you to a retailer.

Tackle Industries are really getting a good buzz up here in Canada, customers are quite happy they can get two quality rods for basically the same price as one of the other brands.
