I'm headed up to stay at Big Narrows Resort the second week of September this year for a three day trip. I've been to the Angle once years ago in late June, but that's it so my experience there is very limited, especially Big Narrows and north. Any tips, suggestions, or thoughts on how to approach that area that time of year would be great to shorten my learning curve a bit on a short trip, feel free to PM me! Thanks!

| I've never been there in September, but I would assume the fish are still on the rocks. There are hidden gems of cabbage beds all over the Big Narrows, so his those too. I would venture out of the Big Narrows and get out more onto the main lake structure. I've caught fish up to 48.5" in the Narrows, but the piggies seem to be out in the main lake. North of the narrows past Wiley there seem to be less fish, but the ones you do find seem to eat and not be as conditioned as the fish in the narrows.

Location: Warroad, Mn | It's possible that you'll hit an algae bloom around that time of year (doesn't always happen, but usually does). Watch which way the wind blows as that will clear out areas. Be preparred for some long drives and searches for clear water.
