Location: Storm Lake, IA | Im looking to get rid of the lakewood tackle boxes and go to plano boxes. Dont have any place local to look at them so will have to order online. Trying to.decide what sizes to get Thank you for the help. |

| I believe the only ones I use are the 3700's. Check out the Frabill boxes, too, they have some anti-rust stuff that really seems to work. |

| I have the Bass Pro brand. Basically the same thing for a few bucks less. I use the 370 (bass-size) and 370-3 (deep slots). The 370-3 will fit Mag Dawgs. |

Location: Madison, WI | If you go with the Planos, I think you are going to want the 3730s and/or 3731s pending on whether you want the dividers. They are the 3700 size length and width but deeper.
3730 - 4 permanent dividers that run the length and the ability to cut each row up with removable dividers
3731 - no dividers (wide open utility box)
I have and use both types. I have a 3730 full of Super Ciscos. I have a 3731 full of Mag Shads (they just do not fit in the 3730s). I also use the 3731s for terminal tackle and release tools.

Location: Tennessee | I have a 7915. Love the box. I did have to trim up several of the dividers to allow for some crankbaits and such to fit but quick and easy with a dremel. |

| I also use the 3730 and 3731 plano models. My local lowes has these in stock and is cheaper than all of the fishing stores in my area...

| You can fit 16 DCG in a 3700 box with the slots if you do it right. (put them in and alternate directions and stack, 4 per slot) Minor nuisance getting one out at times, but very cheap storage option for bucktails. You can also store 8 super models in a 3700. Just make sure they are dry before you put them in one of these boxes. If you put a wet one in you will get a ton of rust. I use a Lakewood Pedestal Pal to handle the drying while I'm on the water, also doubles as storage for leaders and tools and any really big baits that won't fit in my 3700s.
The non-slotted 3700 is great for rubber baits. 3 Pounders or 4-5 Mag Dawgs will fit in one. Monster Medusas will also fit 3 in one box.
I store all of my blades and rubber this way. I actually use my locking rod locker under my bow deck to stow these boxes, I can fit 6 of them in the compartment. It is great way to free your boat of clutter and get more mileage out of your more traditional tackle box. |

Location: Loves Park, IL | If you have a Menards in your area, check them out. They carry Plano storage boxes and they are usually cheaper than anywhere else. Last time I checked they had 3700 and 3730's. |

| I would recommend looking at Just Encase as well, Bob will work with you to get you exactly what you need. I have done it the "cheap" way with plano boxes and you are never truly happy with them and its more of a hassle and mess than anything else. Plus, you end up replacing the boxes and spending more money on trying to do it cheap than if you were to do it right.
There is a saying that fits well here, "I can't afford to do it cheap." |

Location: Storm Lake, IA | Its not a matter of doing it cheap. I bought a new to me boat and thought about an encase system for the back deck. But I have so much storage in the boat I can load that thing with planos. I'm done with having tackle boxes taking up room in the bottom of the boat. I also think its easier to see what you have for lures if they are individually packed away. |
