I posted a couple weeks ago about making flourcarbon leaders and got tons of helpful information. I've been tying a nail knot then crimping the tag end but I keep getting a bend in the leader about an inch up from both the swivel and the snap. I dont think it really affects the strenght at all but it look like it may affect the action. Anyone else ever had the problem or have any solutions to get rid of the bend ?

Depends on how bad its kinked but i fill a sink with really hot water and let it soak a bit then kinda stretch it out
