Location: Lockport, IL | +1 If she doesn't mind a 10-20 mile drive depending on where she is working you could also have her look at smaller towns like Byron, Stillman Valley, Davis Junction, ect. |

Location: N.FIB | Stick to the east side of rockford,rockfords not that bad,I live in machesney park but grew up in rockford close to east high school,that areas fine but stay away from 11th st,that areas gotten worse over the yrs. |

Location: Loves Park, IL | I grew up in Rockford, now live in Boone County, just outside of Rockford, actually in Loves Park. I agree, stick to the far East/Northeast side. And as said, look at Loves Park or any of the adjacent cities/villages. You can drive just about anywhere in Rockford from surrounding communities in 30 minutes or less. If your niece has children, definitely look outside the Rockford School District. You will find some really nice rentals outside of the Rockford School District that are cheaper because of the high tax rate. Good Luck! |
