| So can anyone tell me, have they seen Wileys like this before? I thought all Wileys had screw eye hook hangers and not the hangers you see here? And these are missing the official "Wiley Lures" sticker on the bottom of the bait? |

Location: Pittsburgh, PA | These are older Wileys. Not sure when Dale switched from the hook hangers to screw eyes. Some else on here may. I have some of the old ones though, they catch fish just fine.

Location: Algonac, MI | Contrast to muskie thrills site, Wiley lures do not always have stickers on the belly. Some stickers are located on the dive lips, and some do not have any.
Stickers have varied. Mid 80s they were typed. (3 on ebay, ending today, 2 being 1986 vintage, with hook hangers). Some had round stickers, with lure type listed, some have oval stickers, and others have none.
Dale switched to screw eyes in the 90's
I will vouch the above three are Wileys. These were ordered direct from Dale, without any hooks, and I personally added hook hangers on the 3 lures pictured. I have bought 1000s from Dale.
Hook hangers came from Net Craft.
