Can only say that the 6" version in red head helped me catch pike in a pressured lake, in springtime, when no one else was catching them. I had the mother of all northern largemouth bass hit the 7" version one October morning--right in front of my eyes. Only trouble was that the bass hit in the center of the lure where there was no treble hook. Lost trophy. Can't say for muskie, although the 6" version might be a good spring lure. The 7" looks kind of skinny.

I used to catch a bunch of fish on them when I was younger. Always had one with. Don't thrown them much more for some reason. Have a few that have more then their share of teeth marks.

Definitely a good one early in the spring, over shallow weeds or when the going is slow. And, they're $9, just go buy one.

That 9$ investment will reap many $s worth of returns. Those things are fish magnets.
