Slow times on Pewaukee. Most of the boats we talked to hadn't seen a fish. I was able to catch a dink and see a dink.

Fished with my brother Greg from 6am till 11am then did a huge shore lunch with a bunch of buddies. I had 4 very active muskies chase lures to the boat and try to eat. One completely missed my lure and did a rainbow leap over my lure. Crazy fish then chased it to the boat and around the 8 a few times. Just nuts how some fish just can't eat a lure when they want too.
After a long lunch we casted a few more areas with only 1 muskie follow. Called it a day early and hung out with the boys. Cold east wind had the action on the slow side this opener. The size of the fish were 36 to 40 inches.

Well, since you asked, I was able to get a fish that would have been barely legal last year, right around 6:10 AM and not fishing any of my usual spots that had boats as thick as fleas on them. The fish thrashed at it well away from the boat and I thought everybody was going to have a big day. Then, when I stopped at Smokey's around 10:30, they said it was only the third fish they heard about. I never even had another follow???

Fished on Twin Valley at Gov. Dodge State Park for the opener. Saw tons.....of boats! Never seen the lake so packed. Saw one mid 30's fish and that was it. Did not see anyone catch anything. Was only there from 6:30am to about 9:30am. Decided to go grab breakfast. Water temp at the launch when we left was 60.9 degrees, warmer than the air temp.

Muskies not open up here, but the walleyes and crappies were very willing yesterday. It was miserable out there all day today, spent the day hanging out at the house with Sue.

out on Twin Valley in Gov. Dodge State Park. 24+ trailers at 6am. I had never seen it so busy. Never saw a muskie though, and didn't see anyone else catch one either. I talked to a couple of guys that had a few follows. Went home about 1pm. Judging on other vehicles parked after I arrived there had to be 12+ boats arrive after I put in.

My wife and I fished Pewaukee on Saturday from 8 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Smokey’s launch was full (the guy working mentioned that it was full by 7 a.m.) so we launched at The Sports Dock. My wife had a decent fish (40ish) come in and make a few turns in the 8 then swim away. She cast back and the fish exploded on the bait, but missed. She was bummed. We had one other follow (a 20 incher) and that was it.

Saturday was slow- fished 2 lakes and saw only one fish in about 8 hours on the water.

After waiting for the storms to move out on Sunday, fished a different lake and it turned out to be a great day. Got out about 3:30 and saw a 40 incher right away. Then caught a 47 incher at 4:30 and a 46 incher at 6:30. Both fish were very healthy with beautiful markings. Absolute awesome way to start the season! Probably all down hill from here...

pures dont open for us until 3rd saturday in june but tigers and northerns opened up

went out to a lake that has had a very successful stocking program for tigers and had a pretty decent day:

8 tigers (3-4 of them were literally 15-20" fish that were stocked in the fall, aggressive) biggest was a fat 35"er but my gf brought up a beast to the boat, easily upper 40s fish

2 surprise walleye casting soft tail phantoms (18-20")

5 bass
