Just finished the last of four. Three of the four ran perfect with very little or no tuning. Ran straight and didn't blow out as fast as I could reel with a curado 300ej. The cisco, however, hunts radically from side to side at moderate speed. Kick up the speed, and it blows out, usually on the lures rt side but not always. All four were made the same (wood, shape, lip, weight, etc.) any thoughts on what's happening? The only thing I can think of is that the lip isn't exactly straight. I'd like to fix it to run at a higher speed but don't want to ruin it altogether. It'd be awesome if it would hunt like that at higher speeds. Any thoughts?

Ill take that one that hunts off your hands Sounds like you have a winner with that one. It will out fish the other three. Just run it at the point just before it gets to radical to pull and hang on. Also just add a little heavier belly hook and maybe push the tow eye down about 1/16th of an inch. Those things will tame it some. If it was me that one would go in my box and I would sell the other three. Baits that are hard to tune and hunt are my top producing lures. Mike

Thanks for the feedback Mike. I will probably just leave it alone, just wish I could get a little more speed out of it without ruining the hunting action. Still would like to know what caused it, but I'm not gonna risk ruining the bait.
