Does anyone ever have trouble with a tiller kicker fitting on the back of a 1700 tuffy? seems like the side of boat is going to get in the way of the full range of motion when turning.

May be a dumb question, but most 1700 tuffys have a 90hp motor on them why not just troll with that? it should go plenty slow?

The kicker should be fine if set so the handle just clears the motor when turning. Depends on which side of the boat you have it on, too.
