Random quote: After a day where I had a dead battery, had my trolling motor go out 2x, took out my lower unit I caught a nice pike. PK says "at least she has nice shoulders" I respond "that's like saying that fat chick has nice boobs (but I didn't say boobs)"

One new glider in a tulibee pattern and an old Phantom that needed some new paint.

Knooter,

Beautiful paint work again !!!!! Those are very nice.
So on the repaint, i have a couple questions (I have a couple of old beat up grandmas that need some TLC). Just sand/scuff up the old surface, prime it up with some fusion spray (sticks to anything), let dry and then paint them up?
Any worries about 2 coats of E-tex and the extra weight compared to an automotive clear that a lot of lure seem to have?
Thanks, sorry for the questions.

Well done on the lures

MS

MS,
I already pm'd you about the plastic repaints, but I'll clarify. This Phantom is an old wood body. I stripped it down to bare wood and started from there. It's a lot of work, but I guess it beats buying a new one.

Great job on both, but really love that cisco. Like to see what that would look like over foil.

I remember seeing a walleye pattern you did a few months back, that was the first I recall seeing your work, anyway you have some awesome painting skills. I love what I have seen. Keep it up, the walleye, the tullibee........and that perch Phantom
Rock!
