Subject: Shelbyville IL muskie HELP WANTED!

Going to hit Shelbyville up for some Muskie tomorrow with my dad. We both have never caught a Muskie despite many years of trying. Just wondering if anyone had advice?

Location: Not far enough north!
With the way the water temps have crashed over the last few weeks it is probably going to be tough. If you are fishing the lake (not the spillway) I would concentrate on one area and pick it apart very methodically. I would probably fish Lithia Springs area and fish it all. Make sure to pay attention to baitfish depth and concentrate where they are. If the sun shines tomorrow I would look for an evening bite if the water gets to warm up a little...

Yeah my guess would be for a deep bite. I guess if I am on the crappie I am probably on the muskie too.
