| talked to Paul the promoter and he told me about a fun deal that Larry Dahlberg and Shimano will be doing at Georges Minn muskie expo
Shimano is bringing the Tranx of course but their also bringing some type of device that has an adjustable drag that you can hook up a spooled Tranx to and actually test the power against ressistence like a blade bait or crankbait instead of just picking one up and spinning the reel handle a few times,Sounds like there will be other reels to compare it to in performance
Also there will "Drag Races" that all people can enter and compete for a chance to win a new TRANX,,for a small entry 'couple bucks' you can compete aginst others during the course of the show. not sure if it will be best time or I heard its actually drag heats against another person but eventually someone will advance and claim the tranx,,,,All money generated from this will go to the MMPA for possibly things like fighting issues such has cass lake.
Shimano is making up some special T shirts and I think some other details
