I have a smaller Beckman net that I use for walleye and northern and such and the net is not coated at all and hooks are always getting tangled in it. It's a pain in the butt but is a very nice deep net. Was wondering if anyone has tried to spray a net down with a rubber coating of some type or undercoating in a can from the automotive store. Not sure if that would work or if the net would get to stiff and not move. I don't really want to stick $20 or $30 into a replacement rubber coated net either.

Thanks for any ideas

replace the net. do not i repeat do not coat that yourself. it will melt in your boat and mess anything it comes in contact with.. i have seen what it will do, so i would not do it if i were you...bill
