Never done it, but looking at replacing the seal in the lower unit.
Is it hard to do for a non mechanic?

What year? Which seal? 2-stroke or 4-stroke? Here's a website to help - it shouldn't be too hard, 6 bolts & a gear-shifter screw and the lower unit is off.
