| I wrote earlier about my pike fly-fishing trip coming up on June 26 to Lac La Martre Lodge, NWT, Canada. The operator tells me there's still a few openings that week (6/26 - 7/2), if anyone wants to join me. While I fly-fish, hardware casters are welcome. However, I'll teach anyone who comes along and is interested to learn how to catch these big brutes on flies...and get more and bigger ones than on lures! Huge Lake trout are a very viable bonus, in relatuive shallow water at that time, and there are Arctic Grayling, too.
You can check the website (below) for an independent review of the lodge and fishing from a long time "professional" pike fisherman...who doesn't fly-fish, by the way.
