Location: North Metro, MN | Thought this was a pretty cool story... the other day I was hanging out w/ my friend Tyler in his garage talking about fishing and playing w/ some of the rods and tackle (nothing unusual). Suddenly, something caught my eye in one of the tackle boxes laying around. I opened it up and was SHOCKED at what I saw... I picked up one of the baits and said WOW! Tyler.... I made this one!!! It was the first wood lure I ever made and first attempt at painting one. I believe I was 12 or 13 when I made it. It turns out to be a friend of a friend of a friends tackle box that forgot it w/ someone who then forgot it at Tylers house. It has probably been a good 6- 7 years since I've seen it and have no idea what happened to it. Small world huh? I never stopped making lures but have since then switched my focus to specialty rigs and bucktails. Sure made my day seeing it again!

Location: North Metro, MN | Luckily I didn't have to fork anything over to get it back haha. I wonder what kind of adventures this thing went on over the years. I've made tons of baits since then but this was a special one. I never like to give up the first ones I make of their kind. |
