Is there a website or anything that show the musky lakes in Wisconsin, I am wondering if there are any real close to the Illinois boarder that are decent that a friend and i could fish over a weekend. any help would be nice. thanks

You owe it to yourself to fish some of the lakes farther north overall they are better but some of the southern lakes are very good too. Numbers and size.

Go to the WDNR website as suggested and look up the muskie waters by county. You'll be able to find areas in the southern part of the state that have a more than one lake to fish.

You could fish either the Madison chain or the lakes in Waukesha (Pewaukee, Okauchee, Oconomowoc, etc.) in 3-4 days.
