| I'm heading up to Cass Lake tomorrow for a long weekend. Does anyone know when turnover was (or if it's turned yet)? It usually turns in mid-September, but I'm assuming we're behind schedule this year.
Anyone been out there this week?

| Got back last night. The lake had turned, but I think the effects were still lingering. Water temp was 53. LOTS of wind this weekend. Sunday was brutal. Fishing was very tough. Only one muskie in the boat, a fat 38" on Saturday. The fish were starting to move better Monday morning, but of course we had to leave .[:(] |

| Did you see many fish, and where did you get the fat 38"er? We go to Cass during the summer and again in the early fall, but not this late in the year. I would love to go up in October someday, but I'd have to convince some people to share the drive with me. |

| Sorry for the late reply. Just got back from 10 days in CA (it's terrible to be gone during prime fishing time [:((] ). I got the 38" in the wind on O'Neills point. We saw very few fish until the last day, then had a few hot follows.
We didn't fish the rushes much, but didn't see anything there when we did. Does anyone out there have much luck in the rushes in October? |
