Location: Roscoe IL | Looking to replace the handles on some ABU Ambassaduer standard baitcasters. Last year I did this, but noticed that the replacements would easily bend on hook sets or snags since I'm a freak and can break anything. Any suggestions would be helpfull.
Thanks,
Mike |

| That's what you get for trying to hold the handle and turn the reel! |

Location: Lake County Illinois | I am also looking to put power handles on my old ambassadeurs and noticed that my extra revo toro power handle fits but looks like it needs to be machined down a little to get the nut on with sufficent threads.Does anyone know if the revo toro handle will work on these if machined down and was wondering if they are counterbalanced correctly for the old 5500 and 6500 series?any information would be appreciated Thanks Ray |

Location: Roscoe IL | Hey EA, I'm tellin ya the power handles I put on these reels last year are total junk. Granted, I get spazzy when I'm in fish on mode but my god man! If I can't find a tougher handle that fits, then I'm relegated back to the corn holder handles that came with these reels. The engineer who spec'd these in should get smacked... One finger and a thumb is all you can use? Really? SLAP! |
