Hi new here have questions about clear coat. Using Envirotex and getting small bubbles on lures. I am rotating them with the right temp and still having problems. Could it be my sanding sealer?

warm up your bottles in hot water before you mix, then after you mix , put aluminum foil on paper plate and pour your clear on the foil. then i take a torch set on low and slowly go over the clear and the bubbles dissappear, then coat your baits and let them dry. hope it helps

You need to exhale(with your mouth/breath) on the lure imeadiatly after applying the e-tex.  Another method is using a torch(flame) from a distance.  The object is carbon dioxide from your breath or flame will break the bubbles.

yes etex warm using old gas grill with lights for heat. I am using the rotisserie to spin them. Temps I've tried are 70 to 90.Could it be my sanding sealer? I heard you can sand but Ilike what i have minus bumps or bubbles.

Yes I have read that post and many others. I still think its sanding sealer problem. The cedar will be smooth as glass paint with air brush and seal with etex .I will dry them overnite.next day they feel like a grain of sand here and there.maybe I am picky or this normal. Any other advice thanx.

if it is air bubbles it is more than likely coming out of the wood as it comes threw the sealer if not fully soaked in. Let the temp stay steady or let it drop after putting etex on, temp dropping things contract sucking in.
