Location: Freedom, WI | Since they reformulated it the color is not the same and coverage is not very good. They have some nice colors but if they have it in the regular stuff I use that. Their gold is terrible and have switched to Golden and Jacquard. Take there metallic russet old stuff with a light coat was still russet (great when shading), new stuff light coat produces orange russet until you put on heavier coats. For a base coat it is fine but if you are blending no, they made it more for painting whole cars is my thought. |

Location: Pigeon Forge TN. | I use all solvent based lacquer and have for over 12 years now.I still use it and won't change unless they take it off the market and replace it all with poly.
I use clear lacquer to mix my own blend of gold and silver pigments I also use the pearl pigment and mix my own.
IMO it's the only way to go for the way I am set up. |

Location: Madison, WI | I've been mixing up my own pearls and metallics for awhile now and love the control it gives one. The pearl and iridescent powders can be mixed with any medium and can even be combined with each other to give unique effects!
Best,

Location: Pigeon Forge TN. | Roger,
Shop around and see if you can find a table mount Pasche spray booth. It sucks it all out and with the lacquer you can spray wet over wet. Very time saving when you do a lot. I still paint a lot of lures these days and just love the spray booth, well worth the money.
