Some preliminary Q's first. What do you fish for and what techniques do you use? On how big of lakes? Glass or Aluminum? Price range? Tiller or console?

mostly muskies until the waters to hot, then pike and pan fish.i do perfer to cast but have been tring trolling more to learn it. i dont fish what i would figure to be big lakes but they do get heavy pleaser boat traffic at times.my price range would probly max out at 10k and im a tiller guy.

I would look at the 1700 Tuffy Osprey on the boat ad tab. There is a 2001 and 2004. There is also a recent thread on here about them and how great of a boat they are. There are other good boats out there that would meet you specifications, but that Tuffy will have a nicer ride than any aluminum boat of that size. I know they are both consoles, but it at least give you an idea of price and layout. I think you would be very happy with the boat for musky fishing, but also as a boat to take your girls out in. Good luck on your search
