Location: Bemidji | I am looking for 8-10 cheap measuring devices for the MN High School Muskie Tournament. I am not looking for a stick but rather a board. I do not want to spend much money for each one. |

Location: Canada | I'm not going to much help in finding some but I have a suggestion. Could buy the 60" measuring tapes from cabela's or wherever and either make some wood ones that are varnished up or get a local business or woodmaker to build (possibly donate) them, may need to buy the varnish or the stainless hinges but could be done and might get some local business's involved and their names out there for a good cause. |

Location: Grand Rapids MN | Rapala has a fold up 60" board that's pretty inexpensive. I'm thinking their around $12 or so at most places. They are narrow but work just fine. I've used one for the last few years. |

Location: Sun Prairie, WI | I made a 60" one out of wood and a 72" ruler I cut down. Cut it at 30" and hinged the board. Had a buddy at a wood shop mill the wood so the ruler sat flush. If you have a wood shop at the High school have them make some for you. |

| I made my own folding bump board out of 6" wide pvc exterior trim that you can get a Lowes or Home Depot. I bought an 8' piece, couple hinges, and some SS screws. Once I made it into a bump board I took a perminate marker and layed out the board with measurements and put some stickers on it, looks and works good. Probably have $15 in it. |

Location: lansing, il | Kevin contact Tony at Muskie Bumper, they made some 60" flat sticks last year. Also try calling Mike Mordas from Muskie Train he makes a clear 60" flat stick as well. They arent as wide as a bump board but they are affordable. |

| I would talk to Muskie Bumper, T's Tackle, or some other bump board manufacturer about sponsoring the tournament and giving a discount or donating some boards. Maybe they would be willing to loan a handfull of them temporarily. Doesn't hurt to ask.
If you like the Rapala boards there's a deal on their website for the "Big Game Kit". It comes with a file, hook cutter, gloves, the board, and a hook remover for $53. Probably out of your budget, but it will give everyone almost all of the necessary tools to release a fish properly. |
