Posts: 1202 Location: Money, PA | This is a basic walleye pattern with an optional tail for added attraction. The tail will make the bait run slightly shallower. These things really Thump! Youtube video also at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-uy_c31HAzk&list=UU0WLPg7EXzu53Dn79p... Posts: 4266 | Show some different body angle pictures. It looks almost pmyramid shaped when it's sitting there...or is it? Tracks good even at super fast speed. Nice paint jobs too.

The Hammer son! Square lip on those? Looks nice and I know I will get one if I can. Looks like the old square lip Wiley deep dive and those were really good. Nice job Paul.

Posts: 1202 Location: Money, PA | If you saw the whole bodystyle, size and action (especially trolled), you'd see its almost nothing like the old Wiley other than the lip style....I tried and preferred that this bait compares to nothing else out there in nearly every aspect of the design. This is just a sneak peak...There will be more photos, angles, patterns and videos to come...Hopefully like this! Posts: 1202 Location: Money, PA | Thanks for that link Evan!! Thats the jointed first prototype which was tested and caught a bunch of fish last summer. It is one of the first of a run of about 15 cedar baits that I made. Well, production came to a major halt last summer when I quickly found out I was terribly allergic to cedar. I wore respirators, cut lures on a lathe with suction system and none of it helped....When I cut half dozen baits, I'd be ruined for 2 to 3 days! I had to find a solution to my problem, since these baits thumped so hard and were so effective. A good friend, Mr. Podmarsky, gave me the idea of resin baits...I found this very interesting at the time, but it was the middle of fishing season, so pretty much everything was put on hold until this winter. Luckily and through the goodness of the big guy up above, I was connected to and met a local guy who is not only what I feel an expert craftsman/fabricator, but a hell of a lure maker himself. Mr. Andy Zomcik of Fat A.Z. Musky Products www.fatazmusky.com Andy has helped me out tremendously in the production of this bait through the use of a new and totally un-understood medium for me. So here we are...The Hammer is finally going to come alive and have every bit of thump and action of the previous cedar made Hammer....except this one will be stronger and meaner! I'm confident in that. Edited by ShutUpNFish 2/22/2012 1:29 PM Attachments ---------------- jointed.jpg (8KB - 194 downloads)

Posts: 212 | Allergies are never fun, especially when you learn of them the hard way... Awesome you were able to find an alternative! I really liked the first perch pattern that you whipped up... Sweet deal!
